A swiss investor was interested to buy all shares of a German real estate company or – if that is not possible – the real estate directly.
Together with the investor’s lawyer we prepared a small on-desk due diligence and background check of the seller, the real estate entity and the real estate it-self. In addition, we meet the seller and visited the real estate on site.
We strongly advised the buyer to step back from the envisaged investment. The investor followed our advice and invested into another property.
